How Often Should You Get a Facial?
It is the question we hear most, and the honest answer is that it depends on your skin, your goals and your life. But there is a useful starting point: the skin renews itself roughly every four to six weeks, so a facial timed to that cycle supports the skin as it turns over, rather than fighting it.
If your skin is generally happy and you want to keep it that way, a facial every four to six weeks is the classic rhythm. Each visit clears buildup, rehydrates and gives us a chance to catch small changes early, before they turn into concerns you can see.
If you are working on something specific, like congestion, dullness or dehydration, we may suggest a closer series to begin with. Two or three visits a few weeks apart can shift stubborn concerns faster, and then you drop back to a maintenance rhythm once your skin has settled.
If regular visits are not realistic, do not let perfect be the enemy of good. A facial at the change of each season still gives your skin a proper reset four times a year, and we will send you home knowing exactly what to focus on in between.
Between visits, the basics carry most of the weight: gentle cleansing, sunscreen every morning, and not overdoing actives. A facial is not a substitute for daily care, and daily care is not a substitute for professional treatment. They work as a pair.
The best plan is the one made for your face, not the internet's average. Come in, let us look at your skin properly, and we will tell you honestly how often it is worth coming, even if the answer is less often than you expected.
