FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, call 022 151 9355 and we will talk it through.
Do I need a consultation before my first visit?
If it is your first time with us, we begin with a short chat about your skin, your preferences and anything we should know. It takes a few minutes, helps us tailor the ritual to you, and there is no pressure and no upselling, just care that fits.
How often should I get a facial?
For most people every four to six weeks works well, because that follows the skin's natural renewal cycle. If you are working on a specific concern we may suggest a shorter gap to begin with, and if you simply want maintenance, a seasonal visit still makes a difference. We will recommend a rhythm that suits your skin, not a one size fits all plan.
What should I do before a skin treatment?
Come as you are. Arriving with a clean face is helpful but not essential, since every facial begins with a proper cleanse. In the two or three days before, it is best to skip strong exfoliants and retinoids so your skin is calm when we treat it, and let us know about any products or prescriptions you use.
Is there any downtime after a facial?
Usually none. Some treatments can leave the skin a little pink for an hour or two, which settles quickly. We will always tell you beforehand if a treatment needs particular aftercare, and we suggest letting your skin rest without makeup for the remainder of the day where you can.
How long does a lash lift or brow treatment last?
A lash lift typically lasts six to eight weeks, growing out gradually with your natural lashes. Brow shaping is usually refreshed every three to four weeks, and tint softens gently over a similar time. We will let you know the ideal return window for whichever treatment you choose.
I have sensitive skin. Can I still book?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we will choose gentle products and adjust the treatment to suit. If you have known reactions we can do a patch test first, and during the treatment we check in with you rather than pushing through. Sensitive skin needs a considered approach, and that is exactly what we give it.
What is a head spa?
A head spa is a deeply relaxing scalp treatment that combines cleansing, massage and conditioning for the scalp. It eases tension, supports a healthy scalp and feels wonderful from the first minute. Many guests pair it with a facial or massage to make a proper reset of the visit.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, and we simply ask for as much notice as you can give, ideally twenty four hours, so we can offer the time to someone else. A quick call or message is all we need, and we will find you a new time that works.
